How I Found the Church

One day, my older sister told me about the local church where she met and I was very happy. I asked her if there was any church like it in San Antonio. The next week she gave me the telephone number to the church in San Antonio. I called the number and later that evening a Christian brother in the church came to share with my husband and me. The next Sunday we came to a meeting of the local church. In the meeting I saw something from Ephesians 5:19-20. Since then, I’ve really been enjoying this portion and it has changed my life in a wonderful way. Now, I am satisfied and I’m really enjoying the Lord.

I was a very unsatisfied, depressed person. I had been saved for a long time, but I was never satisfied. I prayed and read the Bible, but nothing could help me inside. Outside, I was a good Christian. Inside I wasn’t. I tried to be such a good Christian, but I always failed. When I came to the local church, I looked at all the Christian brothers and sisters here. The first year I met with them, I didn’t know that much; I was a little baby. I depended on the believers in the local church and they helped me. I started to grow up. I’ve been meeting with the local church for 10 years and I have grown a lot. I really enjoy it and I’m still growing everyday.
